Clamp Pliers
Does anyone know anything about hair extensions that you clamp in your hair with pliers?
I have the clip in hair extensions that are made out of real human hair and i love them, but i hate having to take them out to wash my hair and stuff. So the other day i see this girl who has hair extensions that clamp into her hair. She said they are about 1/4 an inch wide with metal loops on the ends that you clamp to the roots of your hair with pliers. I saw them and they looked really neat but i didnt ask where they came from. Does anyone know anything about these?
One of my best friends is a hair stylist and he told me he would put them in for free. And im used to sleeping in my clip in ones sometimes so im not worried about the comfort level.
It's called Micro-linking, the method your referring to. You would either use a copper tube, or a micro-link t attach the pre-tipped extension to your hair. It's a safe, easy and effective method for installing extensions without the damage to your hair. Hair Extensions Outlet sells a kit for this, I believe it's called the Micro-link Starter kit. It's like 30.00. I have also used their hair before and it's great. I have done a few installs of hair extensions. Good Luck...
