Flexible Shaft
i would like to have something cleared up?
I was wondering 2 things
1 : snipers like Semin and Kovalchuk, do they use stiff stick or really flexible sticks
2 : I know that common sense says its better to use a short stick if you want to deke people but when your as talented as them you cant use a telephone pol. So i was thinking they maybe get an edge in the shot power departement from using a longer stick ( kind of like in golf where a longer shaft equals faster club head speed)
i didnt properly explain myself i was curious if anyone knew anything about where kovalchuk or semins stick comes to him on skate( nose chin collar bone) and yes i know how to shoot i dont need a lesson in that departement i was wondering what they prefer since these 2 have the hardest snapshot in the league
You dont use a short stick to dangle around people... thats not common sense.
The stick should be appropriate for your height.. if not it WILL cause back problems.
The power of the shot has to do with the flex of a stick not the length.... now thats common sense.
