Set Ipod
is it bad that my ipod is set to a windows format if i use a mac?
ive had my ipod for a few years and i used to have a windows so i obviously set my ipod to windows. but last year i got a mac and i just noticed that the format of my ipod still says windows. is this bad? if so, how do i change it? do i have to restore it?
the only "bad" thing about having a windows-formated ipod is that you can't add songs to it on your mac. You have to completely reformat the ipod through itunes, which deletes all of your songs on the ipod (back-up your songs!). Once you plug the ipod into the mac, it'll ask if you want to reformat it. Now, you can use it on your mac.
