Tape Measure
How do you read a tape measure?
I am applying for a job online and one of the requirements is the ability to read a tape measure "to the 8th and 16th".....could anyone explain to me thoroughly what that means please?
A tape measure is typically in inches.. there is tic marks within the inches... the 4 big ones are quarter inch.. the ones smaller than that are 8th inch and the ones smaller than that are 16th inch.. typically 16th inch is as small as it gets on a tape measure..
