1972 Honda CB 175 - Stripped screws on crankcase...?

I am currently working on a minor restoration of a 72 Honda CB 175. Most of the bikes pieces are bolted together with either size 10 or size 12 metric bolts, but the crankcases on both sides of the engine are screwed in. In order to get the engine free from the frame, I must disconnect the clutch cable from inside the left crankcase, and I must change the twenty-something old Oil Filter in the right crankcase. However, this project has hit a major snag considering all the screw heads are stripped to the point of uselessness. I tried drilling one and using a Screw Extractor bit but it only broke the head of the screw. Is drilling them all out and stripping the thread in the case the only option I have, or is there some magic tool out there I'm missing? I've tried a Torque Wrench, tons of WD40 and other such products, etc. Nothing. I was hoping any advice on the situation would be helpful, and I appreciate it.

As long as there is still a screw head you can cut a straight slot with a dremel that has two thin cutoff wheels on an arbor. Then use a hand impact like they all said only with a straight bit in it. It has gotten me out of trouble for 30+ years. A cheap impact can be bought for under $20, or go to Sears for a good one.
